Bibliotheek Wise: Your Library Affairs at Your Fingertips
Bibliotheek Wise is a free Android app developed by OCLC BV that enables members of public libraries in the Netherlands to take care of their library affairs whenever and wherever they want. The app provides almost the same facilities as the catalog and My Menu on the library's website, allowing users to search the catalog, place reservations, and add titles to their wish list.
The app also allows users to manage their data, including login data, mail address, and the way they receive messages from the library. Users can view their previously borrowed titles, reservations, and wishlist, and add or remove titles themselves. The app also offers acquisition overviews, personal reading and listening advice, and ratings and reviews from other users. With the app, users can see what materials they have at home, when they must be returned, and renew them directly. Users can also set relationships or permissions for renewal, authorizing someone else to renew for them.
